Daniel Sachon's tumultuous video for Demi Lovato unveils a reimagined Demi, free from the scars of her past and untouched by the chaos around her.
The promo for Fast counterintuitively has the singer as the calm centre at the heart of a storm, walking through a nighttime city scene engulfed in hysteria. With a large cast of extras, there is craziness at every turn, orchestrated by Sachon with an admirable eye for detail within the overall concept.Â
Through this tightly-orchestrated mayhem - shot on a studio backlot - Demi emerges in complete control, setting the tone for her new chapter. Her final glance at the camera is the only acknowledgment of the outside world, intentional and poised.
