Lawrence Hills' latest for London alt-rock outfit DEADLETTER follows 12-year-old Ash Powles in a defiant portrait of youth.

The video for To The Brim - which follows Hills' UKMVA-nominated clip last year for Mere Mortal - captures the restless energy of growing up and the joyful rebellion that comes with finding out who you are.

The structure of the video reflects this in the way it meanders away from its initial conventional narrative, for the fun of it, as Ash gets up to mischief, egged on by the band.
