Directing duo and VFX-driven studio Stillkidz have created a riveting video for Barcelona-based singer-songwriter and composer Maria Arnal.
Stillkidz blend live-action, design, and postproduction in their working practice, and its all there in the video for Pellizco. Maria's performance of a song where the voice multiplies, repeats, and intertwines with the rhythmic base is reflected in the video through her own multiplied presence in a paper-lined room. Then her performance is replicated through the animation of paper print-outs from the live action.
It's a controlled but compelling way to showcase the talents of this artist working in an experimental yet playful oral style.   Â
