Archive 'City Walls' by Maxim Kelly
Rob Ulitski - 16th Feb 2026
Maxim Kelly drops his third and final instalment of a trilogy of videos for Archive.
The video for City Walls features an anachronistic, AI-generated montage of events, unravelling across a week.Â
Lingering on symbolism and abstract interpretation, the video focuses on stirring snapshots of death, disease and natural disaster, encapsulated in a UK-adjacent environment. Kelly also maintains a tension between drama and absurdity that has been the hallmark of his previous AI-gen Archive videos for Look At Us and Wake Up Strange.
It's a thought-provoking piece, representative of what AI is now able to achieve - whether that's a good or bad thing is for viewers to decide.Â
