Chuck Strangers 'Everyday' by Broken Antenna
David Knight - 24th June 2026
Broken Antenna direct an unconventional narrative for Chuck Strangers - the first of two videos for the Brooklyn-based rapper that are essentially crime tales, but approached from surprising angles.
The video for Everyday, featuring Obii Say, features a middle-aged couple, two immigrant Londoners, who evidently work hard at their inner-city jobs - her in a nail parlour, him in a kitchen - and return every night to a cramped flat to dream of a more glamourous life
On a low-budget, with a fast-moving, low tech sensibility, the directing duo successfully bring us a rounded portrait of the pair and their endeavours to make money in a cash-rich economy. And then comes the surprising twist...
Everyday comes from Glory Of The King’s Hand - out July 10th via Lex Records - and the next single, G Pack, also comes with a video from Broken Antenna, loosely linked to this one.
