Cara Hammond gets to grips with her dreams in Graham Michael Roberts' introspective promo for Borderlines. In the video, Hammond is shown making plans with string on a corkboard, trying to map out and pin down her abundant interests, getting herself tangled in knots in the process. Eventually, the entire room is covered in string, and it takes a special focus and determination for the artist to break out of the cycle. The transition from daylight to night represents the 24-hour consuming nature of her thoughts, and DoP Ronan O'Loughlin's intimate cinematography helps visualise this brilliantly. The art direction is also on point, making a little bit go a long way in the concept."What drew me to this song was Cara's incredible voice, and I knew I just had to make a video for it," says Graham Michael Roberts. "Starring Cara herself, we created a character who makes plans to do everything, and it doing so, means she doesn't have the space to do anything at all. She becomes trapped by her own ideas."Ultimately she recognises this, and destroys the strings keeping her tied. This idea of being tied, I felt really chimed with Cara's story as an up and coming artist, she's starting again, having not made music in three years, and finally feeling free and happy."

After a hiatus of 24 years, Everything But The Girl are back, with addictive new release Nothing Left To Lose. Charlie Di Placido's video for the single presents a couple in the middle of a large café, who are swept up by the beat and launched into an energetic display of choreography. The other punters join in, as does the cashier, all joining together as one hive mind, until the music ends and all is back to normal. Shot in one take, the video is a whirlwind of creativity, which takes a familiar concept and elevates it to a new level.

Joseph Falcovici directs a mischievous video for Liverpool band Circa Waves's Hell On Earth, taken from their forthcoming new album. The video sees the band perform in an eclectic, 70's era house, in an undisclosed location in the South of England.Boasting the presence and energy that Circa Waves exude on stage, the video pays homage to a uniquely British suburban aesthetic, with a huge dash of absurdism thrown in for good measure.

W.A.M. 'Bill' Bleakley follows up his excellent recent output, including videos for Confidence Man and Ocean Alley, with a riveting club-based drama for Sydney-based DJ/producer Golden Features. In the video for Touch, featuring Rromarin, a young man meets with friends in an industrial building, tagging the walls with graffiti and dancing within the bare structures of the rooms, before pulling back a plastic sheet to reveal a full-on illegal rave, and decide to dive right in.Drawn into the throbbing, strovbe-lit dancefloor, the boy soon finds himself attracted to a fellow dancer - and they come together to the hypnotic deep house of the track.Bleakely keeps a sense of fun with a bit of danger and drama throughout the piece, aided by outstanding cinematography by Jack Saltmiras. And it builds to an exciting climax.
