Kim Gordon is back, with a fabulous new track and a music video which is, of course, supercool. It's a tale of teen rebellion, starring the artist's daughter, Coco Gordon Moore. And she's a chip off the old block.Directed by fashion photographer Clara Balzary, with the combination of authenticity and glamour that marks her stills work, we follow the girl as she runs away from the family home and embarks on an adventure.Toying with danger and risk, in a supermarket and motel, regarded as a loner and outsider by her peers, she is ultimately in the innocent pursuit of being herself. Balzary captures the aspect of a girl at a crucial stage in her journey to womanhood, in a marvellously understated fashion. As well as the real sense that this is Kim Gordon's story of teenage self-discovery it has a timeless and universal quality.Which is underlined by Gordon's cameo at the end. She's the girl's mother, and the expression on her face as she collects her from the motel, says it all.

A coming of age story - with the emphasis on the coming.The video for Dearly Beloved is essentially a simple tale of the hormonal drives of a suburban teenage boy. But under Marc Sidelsky's direction, Thomas Revington's striking cinematography (mostly, but not all, in black and white), and Nic Goodwin's edit - and good work from their uncredited lead performer - it's a beautifully constructed and realised tale.Most importantly, it all builds to a terrific climax...

Simon Cahn has transplanted Japanese kawaii culture into Mexico in this original video for French artist Breakbot's track 2GOOD4ME.It captures the fast paced day-in-a-life of a young, defiant Lolita living in Tijuana, as she walks her brother to school, has a picnic with other Japanophiles, and heads to a club in the back of a lustful boy's truck. The video paints a portrait of present-day urban youth, and ends with a surreal flourish as the girl hovers over the city on her walk back home. Upon the video's release, Cahn explained to Dazed: “The link between Mexican and Japanese culture is weirdly very strong in Mexico. It’s very unexpected and interesting…I decided to play with this Japanese/Mexican link. All the characters are real people from Tijuana and non-professional actors.“The video, for me, is like the 24-hour rollercoaster of emotions of a young woman; travelling abruptly from comedy to anger, from joy to pain etc. Working with a non-classic narration, I wanted to embody all these different emotions with the structure of the video echoing the feelings of someone intoxicated."
