Craig Parkinson -&nbsp;star of Line Of Duty and much more -&nbsp;becomes an observer of human behaviour, looking in at the residents of a tower block&nbsp;from the window cleaning gantry outside, in Jake Erland's stunning promo for Dave Grohl's returning rock behemoths Foo Fighters.In the video for Window - Foo Fighters' first release in three years and the first from the new album My Favorite Toy&nbsp;- Parkinson is a window cleaner, working his way across the higher floors of a tower block, impartially witnessing the worlds of the inhabitants within, who reflect the many ways in which we live today.[imgtoken data:1]From the bodybuilder's workout&nbsp;to the&nbsp;content-creating influencer&nbsp;to the grieving mourners, romantic dinner daters and more -&nbsp;Parkinson sees them all from his unique vantage point. And this powerful concept works because it is clearly not faked. He really is on that gantry, way above the ground; and it's&nbsp;captured on camera both outside and inside the tower block. It's almost enough to give you vertigo just watching it.Filmed in Bulgaria&nbsp;over two days, both the actor and crew - particularly Jake Erland and his DoP Jack Exton - went to the great lengths (or heights) to make this work, testing their own personal courage, however safe and secure they were in reality.&nbsp;&nbsp;[imgtoken data:2]<blockquote>The whole film was only only possible with Craig's endless patience and professionalism.&nbsp;</blockquote>As Jake explains below, achieving this&nbsp;idea that Dave Grohl conceived, meant coming to terms with a fear of heights that he did not know he had.PROMONEWS: It’s a great concept. What were the big challenges in shooting it?&nbsp;JAKE ERLAND: Haha yeah, does what it says on the tin - c/o of Mr Dave Grohl himself. [The] whole thing was a bit of a nightmare to make, 9 sets in empty floors 12 and 14. Poor old Craig had to travel down from floor 24 [in the gantry]. Lots of teething problems [on] Day 1, but we were pretty good at getting him in and out by the end.[imgtoken data:3]&nbsp;In particular, can you reveal how you shot the exteriors of Craig on the gantry?JE: 40 metre cherry picker - I didn’t think I was scared of heights and even going up on that I was sweaty-palmed hahaha. Shout out to Mr Jack Exton, who it turns out is not afraid of heights at all.&nbsp;And did it require Craig to have an extremely good head for heights?JE: I mean, I can’t believe he did it. I am a massive Line Of Duty and Misfits fan. TBH I think we all underestimated how fucking high it would be, lol. The whole film was only only possible with Craig's endless patience and professionalism.&nbsp;

I think their on-screen chemistry, and there trust in each other, is what makes it what it is."

Sophie Muller and co-director Theo Adams went to Blackpool to make&nbsp;a rollicking promo for new pop superstar-in-the-making Meek's irresistible anthem.&nbsp;And the result is, to quote it's instantly iconic lyrics,&nbsp;f*cking fabulous.&nbsp;Meek is unrestrained and unapologetic, resplendent in a succession of wonderful outfits, as she storms through Blackpool's backstreets and onto&nbsp;the glittering&nbsp;Golden Mile&nbsp;- while the song breaks out in all its Queen-like glory and you realise you may be hearing this one for the rest of your life.It's a rousing, empowering&nbsp;tour de force, with a sense of carefree optimism and joie de vivre radiating from Meek's charismatic presence. And there are some wonderful visual touches -&nbsp;from the singer's lady assistants on piano and sewing machine, to a drag queen dance troupe and a brief glimpse of Meek riding down the Golden Mile&nbsp;in&nbsp; Cinderella's coach&nbsp;- that make it a repeatable joy to watch. And after it's all over, she is off to the chip shop - still being absolutely Fabulous.This delivers the message of the song to perfection:&nbsp;the world may be going to pot, there's hell all over the place - but that shouldn't stop you looking and feeling good. Rodrigo Inada, now working as a solo director, directs an extraordinary vision&nbsp;for Celeste, creating a world around the singer that's just as dramatic as&nbsp;her talent deserves.For the video for On With The Show, Celeste is a showgirl&nbsp;in an abstract, dreamlike version of a bygone age, trapped by her own persona, represented by the simple yet effective device of a life-like mask.Inada has created a complete vision - a forbidding world of shadows and light, brilliantly staged - from which the singer seeks&nbsp;to escape. The effect, coupled with Celeste's performance - she's a great singer, of course; comparisons with Billie Holiday are justifiable&nbsp;- is intense.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]"Set in a decadent cabaret... we find a showgirl (Celeste) who’s performance involves a mask, and she just been told by a mysterious man: 'it sees, you follow'," explains Inada. "From that moment a surreal journey starts, where the masked version of her is left with no reflection of her true self."When I was a kid the most terrifying thing for me was if one day I walked up to a mirror and I just lost my reflection. And I wanted to explore that on this video, what if one day your reflection just decided they don’t wanna be there for you anymore? "I just felt this story was speaking to me a lot in a way -&nbsp;that sometimes its just so easy to grasp on so many things in life but yourself -&nbsp;and it was really special collaborating with Celeste because for her this song was also about breaking free from expectations and performatic acts, and rather been yourself.[imgtoken data:2]"This video was really special for me, because I finally got to work and collaborate with really amazing and talented friends.
