Austin Peters' latest video for masked country singer Orville Peck - and his second for the artist&nbsp;new album Mule, explores issues of addiction and mental health in a typically Peck fashion, blending realism with musical fantasy.&nbsp;The video for Already Gone&nbsp; is set in a psychiatric hospital, where&nbsp;Orville's full identity is still hidden - he is nominally masked - but he reveals more of his self here than in previous videos.In a montage of cinematic vignettes - including a nod to One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest -&nbsp;we see Peck in a heightened, fantastical version of a hospital, where urine tests transform into&nbsp;dance routines and the staff become background dancers - including Noah Cyrus, who cameos as one of the nurses.&nbsp;It's a brilliant vision, deftly executed by Peters and the creative team - and offers a brilliant insight into the new Orville Peck album and era.&nbsp;

He emerges to engage with the guys, perform the song with a conveniently-situated band&nbsp;- and talk&nbsp;to a horse.As in previous videos, like <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/02/28/orville-peck-queen-rodeo-austin-peters/63556" target="_blank">Queen Of The Rodeo</a>, Austin Peters captures that sense of Peck testing the boundaries of a musical genre renowned for its conservatism&nbsp;with humour, grace&nbsp;and a sprinkling of the absurd.And ultimately, as in his previous Peck videos, the director makes the most of the&nbsp;man of mystery's anonymity. Will Kindrick's charming video for a track from Hot Chip's forthcoming Greatest Hits album brings us into the world of a Toyko crossing warden - played by Mar Masashiro Murata.It's the pretext for a unique type of dance video as he executes some choreographed moves with his trusty beacon-batons all over the city, with the help of a couple of colleagues.With appearances by the band (who were shot in London)&nbsp;on various screens - including on the huge video billboards on Tokyo skyscrapers - the video for the previously unreleased Devotion, certainly demonstrates the crossing warden's dedication to his job.It's also a distinctive and warm-hearted addition to the extensive Hot Chip videography by Will Kindrick.
