William Pope, who has&nbsp;worked on numerous UK-produced music videos in the past couple of years as a gaffer, has directed an impressive debut music video for Marble Empire.A girl biker, involved in an accident with a car, then encounters different versions of herself in a nightmarish version of suburbia - all apparently achieved in a single Steadicam shot, in real time.Pope says the video, shot in Bournemouth with a small crew,&nbsp;was heavily inspired by two Bonobo videos: the Bison-directed video for Kerala, and No Reason by Oscar Hudson. The latter offering the clue on&nbsp;how did he created multiple versions of the same girl with no visible cuts.&nbsp;

Rising UK R&amp;B singer-songwriter Ama Lou directs her own video covering all three parts of her EP &#39;DDD&#39;.Shot in LA and the surrounding desert, this is an impressionistic story of a freewheeling younger in a crime ring (played by Ama), and her adventures over the course of a single day, when she&#39;s put in charge of an important, very tiny bag.Making this nicely off-the-wall and engaging triptych was a family affair, being shot by Ama&#39;s sister, the DoP Mahalia John. And her mother, Kate John, came on board as hair and makeup artist.

Luke Tierney, more commonly known as exective prodcuer and head of music at FRIEND in London, makes his directing debut with this effective one-shot video for electro-pop artist Art School Girlfriend.For Moon, the camera follows the aforementioned ASG through different rooms and scenarios in a London working men&#39;s club - the Peckham Liberal Club, in fact &ndash; which has been transformed into the Monlight Working Women&#39;s Club, where a subtle level of surrealism ensues.With sterling&nbsp;support from the team behind him, including Doug Walshe&#39;s consummate steadicam skills, it&#39;s an impressive opening salvo as a director by Tierney.
