It's an incredible 14 years since Rupert Grint played the crazed Ed Sheeran fan in Emil Nava's memorable video for&nbsp;<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2011/10/27/ed-sheeran-lego-house-emil-nava/10617" target="_blank">Lego House</a>, in 2011. And now, at long last, we have the&nbsp;sequel - also by Nava - as Rupert returns. And this is&nbsp;a completely different ballgame.The video for A Little More begins with the Grint character being finally released from jail - and, for all intents,&nbsp;he's a changed, and completely rehabilitated&nbsp;man. He's normal, sort of&nbsp;- and soon he has a girlfriend (played by Nathalie Emmanuel), and their courtship results in a marriage proposal.There's only one problem: Rupert starts seeing Ed at every turn. It's almost as if,&nbsp;this time, Ed is stalking him...It soon becomes clear that this is a figment of the Grint character's imagination - which becomes obvious when the wedding day arrives...[imgtoken data:1]

Enigmatic alt-electronic outfit&nbsp;holybones self-direct the atmospheric promo for Saltywater, following the band&nbsp;to the countryside to undertake a cathartic ritual.Packed with fast-cut, abstract shots and a fresh twist on traditional folklore, the cinematic visual represents the band's struggle to reach their current state of creative freedom, through the symbolic act of burning an effigy. But to add to the enigma, following the ceremonial act, their faces are bound in bandages."We wanted the video to show how letting go of the past can be violent and difficult, but it can lead to a confusing and complicated freedom," the band have stated. "We have roots where we shot it and it felt right to tell a bit of an urban myth for this one.“We met hiking in 2020. We come from all over the shop - music, theatre, poetry. When we met at the start of this project, we all felt anonymous - living in London in your 20s can do this. In that hinterland, we banded together to make a project that reflects that feeling; everybody being lost together."We found each other and we found a home - holybones. Following FE!N and 4X4, Travis Scott continues his visual journey with Gabriel Moses in a new cinematic chapter: "DUMBO".The video opens on static, almost sculptural bodies in a dark, intimate atmosphere. Each shot, precise and crafted, bears Moses’ distinctive signature.Travis moves like a spectre in a luxury suite overlooking the city, dressed in shadows and grazing light. His slow gestures create a subtle tension between energy and stillness, softening the intensity of the lyrics through a controlled, silent direction.The world of "DUMBO" is rich in symbols: glorified bodies, female silhouettes, sets blending sacred and industrial elements. Salomon Ligthelm reunites&nbsp;with Little Simz on the conceptual and visually powerful music video for her new track Flood.This is Ligthelm's first music video since directing <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/04/27/little-simz-introvert-salomon-ligthelm/70595" target="_blank">Simz's video for Introvert</a> in 2021. That was a huge statement heralding the next chapter in Simz's musical progress. Now nearly four years later, the video for Flood promises to perform a similar role, prompting a buzz of anticipation for her next album.&nbsp;&nbsp;Featuring Obongjayar and Moonchild Sanelly, the video for Flood&nbsp;is a hyper-stylised meditation on materialism and its role in shaping culture. Evoking the fine art-inspiration of his photography work, Ligthelm's eye for framing and composition is on full display here, with shifting textures created in a studio shoot and&nbsp;a fittingly quickfire edit, brilliantly achieved by Elise Butt, who also cut the Introvert video.&nbsp;The rousing, cinematic vignettes build with palpable energy, matching the chant-like rhythm of the track, and the fearless performances from all three artists are arresting throughout.Above all, Little Simz once again shows that she is a fearless presence on camera, even while sharing screentime with her guest vocalists and a mesmerizing&nbsp;group of dancers. NODE directs a striking promo for Berlin-based experimental pop artist Gabriel Gifford.The video for Barking Dogs Seldom Bite was&nbsp;shot at Hackney’s Moth Club, and draws inspiration from a 'cult-like' experience Gabriel had at a local spiritualist church with his father, months before his suicide. A surreal experience that seemed to reflect the nuance and eccentricity of community, mental health, and the supernatural.&nbsp;The video explores these themes through&nbsp;a contemporary lens, with the cast of Seirian Griffiths, Caterina Danzico, Genevieve Reeves, and Tia May Hockey each performing iterations of their ‘dog’ - a physical manifestation of the characters' individual demons and trauma.Building to an electric finale, the focus on raw movement and primal instinct erupts in a strobe-lit montage, cut in a hyperactive and chaotic way.&nbsp;Impressive work with an electric energy.&nbsp;

Adam Berg directs a hauntingly atmospheric promo for legendary Swedish alt-rock band Kent.&nbsp;The video for&nbsp;Återvändare (The Returners) is set against a melancholic, early-morning Stockholm, where a ghostly figure moves through&nbsp;deserted streets and fog-draped alleys, embodying themes of memory and time.The intriguing premise leans on traditional horror iconography, but in a more subdued, ethereal way. Director duo Node direct a haunting and surreal promo for Harvey Causon.&nbsp;The video for Nostalgia blends live action and AI generated imagery,&nbsp;to reflect the symptomatic fear that has become&nbsp;associated with technological singularity - a hypothetical future point in time at which technological growth becomes uncontrollable and irreversible.Shifting, distorted textures amalgamate with the abyss-like environment, leaning into the near-future concept, and the whole visual ramps up to frantic climax.&nbsp;“Cracking open the hippocampus of AI,&nbsp;this brief was a true collaboration between traditional moving image and open source generative adversarial networks," say Node, who are Katie Scott and Kat Collings."It's an exercise into our boundaries working with AI systems and vice versa. The senior Trim editor reflects on the lessons learned cutting promos early in his career, returning to music videos this year for Jon Hopkins, and the special place in his heart for Steven Spielberg.Like many other of London's top&nbsp;editors now working mainly in commercials, Thomas Grove Carter cut his teeth cutting music videos - in all shapes and sizes and in large numbers. Back in the early 2010s, his prolific output included some of the outstanding promos of the times, working with a generation of directors also making their mark. It's probably easier to list the emerging directing talent of that era that he didn't work with.Thomas&nbsp;has been with&nbsp;Trim Editing since 2013, where he is now one of the Whitechapel-based editing company's most experienced and garlanded editors. Working mainly in commercials, his credits include acclaimed ads by the likes of Daniel Wolfe, Kim Gehrig, Sebastian Strasser, Chris Barrett &amp; Luke Taylor - and most recently on a new Apple ad with Place Beyond The Pines&nbsp;director Derek Cianfrance.He's also making time for the right music video project, and in the past year that's included promos for Peggy Gou, Judeline and Jon Hopkins - with another longtime collaborator Dave Bullivant.
