It was only a matter of time before Bjork, so adventurous, avant garde, and supportive of innovative music video directors, should collaborate with Jesse Kanda, a director whose work for the likes of Arca and FKA Twigs has set him in a class of his own. Now it has happened, and it is extraordinary.

This highly original performance piece for Mouth Mantra takes place partly in a 360 construction of the interior of Bjork's mouth - an animatronic recreation, made at the John Nolan Studio. It's strange, beautiful and brutal - and pure Kanda. Not the easiest watch, frankly, but remarkable nonetheless.
