Silent Tapes' video for Swedish artist Frida Sundemo is a washed-out surreal dance film full of restraint.
Sundemo herself here performs in a sparse white room surrounded by doppelganger dancers trapped in cloth pods. The dancers, who apparently represent Sundemo's repressed dreams, writhe around the minimalist set until flashes of flesh and colour begin to pierce the veils and break free. An artfully composed and choreographed performance piece.
