Danish band Off Bloom dance with the locals in Morocco for their new video Falcon Eye, directed by Nadia Marquard Otzen.

It's like watching a western pop video transposed into a new culture, with glimpses of Moroccan streets, dance styles and people. The video proposes an interesting style fusion, not unlike Major Lazer's Lean On video in its adoption of local dancing. And out of what Nadia describes as an off-the-cuff creative process has emerged a great pop video with all the trimmings, including girl posse attitude, pop and lock moves and surprising little moments thrown in.

NADIA:

"I had just done the first Off Bloom video - Love To Hate - and this second video we wanted to embrace with a similar frame of mind, but still make it new and different from the first one. That frame of mind is basically to plan very little and get inspired as we go along.

"Last time we were on a small island in Denmark called Møn, this time we went to Morocco with nothing but a modest amount of dirham in our pockets. And that was just about as mad and beautiful as that might sound like. I planned the next scene when shooting the previous one. It’s a beautiful intuitive way of working, but you gotta be ready to be prepared to lose control. But then the gifts appear - like four amazing girls in velvet pyjamas, girls on horses and shooting veiled men."
