Dan Owen 'Hideaway' by Nick Bartleet

Nick Bartleet sets up a gripping scenario right from the start of his video for Dan Owen. A couple are on the run in wild English countryside, being tracked down by two men in a 4x4, and about to be caught, in scenes reminiscent of Daniel Wolfe's debut feature Catch Me Daddy.
Owen plays one half of the escaping couple, who evade their attackers at first. They come again, this time with dogs, but Bartleet toys with viewer's expectations, and arguably leaves more questions than answers, in a video framed in 4:3 and beautifully photographed by David Foulkes.
