Chris Barratt and Luke Taylor - aka directing duo Us – return to music videos after a very long hiatus with a big, messy video for Harry Styles.

It starts with kids and cakes - lots of them. And in a kind of an anti-Great British Bake Off, the purpose of the exercise is clearly cake destruction, in a massive pastry, pie and sponge dust-up in the school hall. When a boy enters the fray in a resplendent rose-patterned suit we can assume this is Harry's mini-avatar, about to rule supreme in the cake war.

Well, actually that would be quite wrong. We haven't reached the ultimate level of mayhem yet. That only happens when, finally, Harry himself arrives - carrying armfuls of puppy dogs...

Barratt and Taylor somehow orchestrate all this chaos into a visual treat, ably assisted by DoP Ben Fordesman's typically cinematic photography and a great grade by Simone Grattarola. And whoever baked all those cakes deserves a medal too.
