Architects 'Modern Misery' by Lewis Cater
Promonews - 1st Nov 2018
Lewis Cater's latest video for Brighton metal band Architects illustrates the pressures of modern life through symbolic scenes. It's intercut with a nicely-shot performance: lead singer Sam Carter locked in a neon-lined glass box that neatly represents our social disconnectedness.
LEWIS CATER:
"Modern Misery looks at the lack of connection, empathy and vulnerability in modern life. The video looks at the invasion of privacy, the deterioration in social skills and inability to connect on an emotional level, the idea that we have strayed from a more natural way of ‘being’."
