The 1975 'It's Not Living (If It's Not With You)' by Warren Fu

Warren Fu's second video for The 1975 sees Matty Healy living out his worst live performance nightmares, which makes for a smartly entertaining visual for It's Not Living (If It's Not With You).

First of all, Matty's clean-cut and wearing a suit. That can't be right for a start. And then when he's on stage, with his breezily jogging bandmates, a succession of surreal things start happening.

The really clever bit is when the hugely distracted Matty leaves the stage, goes through a door and ends up on the set of his last Fu-directed video for Sincerity Is Scary. A clever meta-textual touch.

And with the original idea coming from Healy himself - even if its possibly inspired by Alice In Wonderland - is there a more creative pop star in the UK right now?
