Dir Lx gets his groove going for this romantic music drama featuring Tiana Major9 and Earthgang.
Their collaboration Collide is from the soundtrack of Queen & Slim, Melina Matsoukas's debut as a feature director, starring Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith, to be released in November. Lx's video alludes to the plot points of the film, setting, and the interplay between the main characters - echoed by Johnny Venus from Atlanta duo Earthgang, and Tiana.
The performers touch upon the ups and downs of a relationship, within the confines of a malfunctioning classic Mercedes - as the runaway lovers do in Matsoukas's long-awaited movie debut.   Â
