Anton Tammi supplies a spectacular, hallucinatory vision for the return of The Weeknd with Heartless. 

Exploring the Vegas strip with a friend, Abel Tesfaye (aka The Weeknd) is trying to find a girl to fix him whilst flings and drugs continue to leave him numb. Permanently in awe of the lights and sights, he stumbles through a number of casinos with a wingman by his side, whilst the 100 mile-an-hour city melts away in his drug-tinged concsciousness.

Paying homage to films such as Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas and Enter The Void, the dichotomy between the glitz and glam of Vegas and the darker side of tripping in the city is represented through glitchy lo-fi cutaways, and a deteriorating performance from the artist in the build to a sobering ending.
