Greg Barth's has smuggled humour and satire into his bright and colourful pop videos for Easy Life, and this one for Nice Guys is their wildest and zaniest collaboration yet.  

The band are the guest performers on a bizarre TV talk show - where the audience are whipped up by a host who is akin to a cult leader - that's disrupted by a Trumpalike and descends into mayhem. It's crazy - while the band manage to keep their cool, led by affably charismatic frontman Murray. Just don't say it couldn't happen. 

GREG BARTH:

"I had loads of fun coming up with the idea for this one. Murray singing 'Nice guys come last' was the igniter for the whole concept of the film. The first thing I thought of was having a controversial person sing the chorus’ lyrics, then building a world around this in order to coherently have a fight break out, disrupting the band’s performance.

"It organically became a weird retro-futuristic abstinence cult talk show that gets disrupted by Donald Trump from the future - which sounds bonkers - but there is so much symbolism hiding in plain sight here: from Donald being crushed by a wall to the broader theme of humanity, and the inescapable result of close-minded ideologies.

"Much like Easy Life’s Nightmares, it’s a darker theme wrapped in candy visuals and humour."
