MoStack ft AJ Tracey 'Miss Me' by Wowa
Rob Ulitski - 27th Oct 2020
MoStack and AJ Tracey take us back to moments of iconic TV, from the Seventies to the present day, in the Wowa-directed video for Miss Me.Â
MoStack and AJ find themselves in a Soul Train-style show, and channelling that Spike Jonze video for Kanye and Lil Pump, before becoming their regular selves - and it's all being watched in the future, Gogglebox-style, by Burberry-wearing pensioner-versions of the likeable pair.Â
All the time-hopping could get messy, if not for the stunning aesthetics that tie together each setup. Ollie Hogan's art direction is top-notch, there's a great supporting cast of dancers in the Seventies' sequence - and DoP Sam Meyer merges the different visual styles with vibrant lighting and dynamic zooms.Â
