Capturing the psychedelia of 1990’s shoegaze with the clean studio aesthetics of the early 2000s, the visual is anchored by a melancholic performance from Strawbey - aka Ruben Pope - as he laments a toxic relationship and attraction to a former lover. 

The concept starts off clean and almost clinical, before distorted VHS textures and washes of bold colour bleed into the image. The use of a static close-up as the hero shot is inspired, whilst the lo-fi aesthetic and understated attitude feel contemporary and on-trend.
