Bjorn Franklin and Johnny Marchetta direct a poignant exploration of love and togetherness, in their promo for Calum Scott. 

The video for Biblical is split between a series of underwater vignettes and a powerful performance section, linked together in an abstract way. 

The underwater setups present snapshots of intimate relationships between various couples, whilst Scott watches on from a nondescript vantage point.

When one character takes Scott's attention, however, he takes the plunge and breaks down the wall, finding himself in the water too... But was the jump worth it, and will it pay off? 

Beautifully shot by Simon Plunket, the low key colour palettes and minimalist art direction push the focus onto character and narrative, allowing viewers to project their own feelings and experiences onto the concept.

"Love is biblical was the theme of our story - capturing intimate moments, that felt locked in time, a feeling of almost serene weightlessness," explain Franklin and Marchetta.

"Using the underwater setting, we were able to portray dream like moments of love. Intertwined with Callum’s setting where he played the part of the observer, someone who watched and eventually took a leap of faith and searching for that same feeling himself."
