Tom Beard directs a darkly poetic promo for Baxter Dury, playing the sole audience member to a unique pole dance performance. 

In Beard's video for D.O.A., Dury is the denizen of a pole dancing club, where the dancer is not only male, he bears more than a passing resemblance to the Grim Reaper.

The video is an exploration of the developing relationship between the two characters, during the Reaper's parodic pole dancing performance, in cloak and leather headdress, with the initial humour of the scenario becoming something more poignant. 

Sinister and sensual in equal measure - with Baxter Dury offering a characteristically stylish yet doleful presence -  the video is elevated by colourful lighting and measured camera movement, which allows the narrative to unfold at its own pace.
