Maty Noyes is the vampire dreaming of a life in the sun, in Ian Rowe's engaging promo for California Palms.

In the video, Maty is determined to realise her dream of running away to California  - even though she's one of the Undead. She decides to create her own version of the Californian dream.

Inspired by her tortoise's vivarium, she goes on an online shopping spree and sets up her own version in the backyard... but the reality falls somewhat short of her sky-high dreams.  

Anchored by Maty's excellent performance  - she vamps it up beautifully - Rowe's video is a wonderfully wacky idea executed to perfection.
