Cody Cloud makes his directorial debut at Untold Studios with this beautiful, cinematic promo for American indie rock band Pedro the Lion.

Shot in the deserts of Arizona, the video features a young drummer named Hazel who gets her first ever drum set. 

As she sits in the backseat of a car on a long, winding journey, she starts to notice the kit sitting idle at random points in the landscape, before finally being let loose to play her music. 

The portrait-style setups lean into Cloud's skill as a photographer, whilst the playful cutaways have a real road-trip, home-video vibe which perfectly encapsulates the concept.
