What happens if you combine The Late Late Show with a dictator who is celebrating his great achievements? That's the question Ricky Allen explores in his new promo for veteran rock band Porcupine Tree.Â
The video for Rats Return laments the state of the world today, and focuses on an enigmatic host-cum-autocrat, whose sole purpose on stage is to celebrate his power and achievements.Â
Shot in black and white with Soviet-era art direction and typography, the concept is stirring and thought-provoking, and combines surreal imagery with superb performances from everyone on-screen.Â
