Andy Little teams up with Hayden Thorpe to direct the arthouse-inspired promo for Thorpe's Polygod. 

In the video, we see the singer and former Wild Beasts frontman adorned with a pair of angel wings, performing and exploring whilst the video degrades to a red-hued, high-contrast world.  

Shot on Bolex 16mm film, the avant-garde concept is imbued with a sense of DIY spirit and experimentation - and references several 80's classics, including the work of Derek Jarman. 

"The idea for the video was to create a character that’s almost like an Evangelist preacher," says Andy Little. "And we had a lot of fun with this idea."

Little explains that the video was filmed in Kendal in the Lake District - Thorpe's hometown. "The working title was The Kendal Prophet," he continues. "[He's] a kind of poor-man’s Lake District Messiah."
