Directing duo Uncanny direct a poignant performance promo for Loyle Carner.Â
Exploring themes of identity, belonging and emotional connection, the one-take video opens on Carner's face and gradually pulls back to reveal a spectacular climactic shot of the artist rooted into the ground, whilst holding a kid of his own.Â
Shot on an infrared camera, the distinctive aesthetic adds a fragile, ethereal look to the cinematography, and distorts the surroundings into an amalgam of fantasy and reality.Â
