Jasper Cable-Alexander directs an atmospheric promo for AMARA ctk100.
Lamenting the dramatic deterioration in respect for women’s rights and rise of incel culture, the track is a "request for autonomy and a call to chew up the Andrew Tates, TERFs and politicians that disguise their agendas behind harmless concepts like 'family' and societal traditions," according to AMARA.
The video for Chew is a slick, textural trip, blending fierce performance sections with experimental camerawork - including some delightfully weird inner mouth shots and plenty of slow-shutter portraiture, which builds to a hypnotic, mesmerising climax.
