Ed Sheeran is at one with the elements, in Mia Barne's touching promo for Boat.Â
We see Sheeran performing in the middle of the sea, battling a tirade of incoming waves as he works to keep his footing.
Before long, various objects get caught up in the water, including broken records, teddy bears and stationery.Â
The cinematography is surprisingly intimate and conversational throughout - with Sheeran's eyeline always down the lens and the camera up close and personal, it feels as if he is pouring his heart out to a friend, and it makes for a beautiful visual.Â
It's the perfect track for a stripped back yet perfectly executed promo, and Barnes brings it to life with an emotional yet still playful concept.Â
