Actress and singer Keke Palmer takes on the role of Usher, in Ricky Alvarez' mind-bending visual for Boyfriend. 

It's a typical night out in Vegas as Keke hangs out with her friends, with a big twist - Palmer is lip-syncing the majority of the track, as Usher plays a phantom presence in her mind. 

Following some real life drama that saw Palmer's (allegedly ex) partner shame her on Twitter for wearing a sheer dress to an Usher concert, the video is the perfect clash of nostalgic R&B concept and modern social moment, packaged in a glossy, fun visual. 

And there are some breathtaking choreography moments, of course - and we wouldn't expect any less from a video for the iconic artist.
