Dana Gavanski's daily routine takes a strange turn, in Ella Margolin's playfully haunting promo for How To Feel Uncomfortable, taken from the singer-songwriter's forthcoming album LATE SLAP, out in April. 

The video opens with Gavanski in a strikingly unusual outfit, going about her day in a calm and collected manner. Though her appearance is otherworldly and ever so slightly inhuman, her character is patiently lying around, taking a bath, trying to work out her place in a very dull world. 

It's a fascinating concept which draws you into Gavanski and Margolin's off-kilter version of suburbia. At the core, the performance and aesthetic are top-notch, and it's a memorable idea with just the right amount of weirdness.
