Inspired by the iconic skyline of New York City, the 16-minute film offers a raw glimpse into the diverse communities of ballroom, sports, adult entertainment, and street culture.

Shot on 16mm, ICONS celebrates some extraordinary individuals who make New York City a beacon of creativity and self-expression.

Blending portraiture with shots of the city, the video offers fly-on-the-wall, unfiltered access to these characters, weaving them into the cinematic narrative and showcasing the different environments and communities that they call home. 

The gritty, raw aesthetic suits the concept perfectly, feeling at both intimate and universal in its presentation.
