LOOSE & UNCANNY join forces to direct this dazzling visual for Fred Again.., Lil Yachty & Overmono - filmed prior to an epic rave at Knockdown Center in New York City. 

The video for Stayinit has a remarkably simple yet hooky concept - to show Lil Yachty's reaction to hearing the song on a proper sound system for the first time, hours before the event at Knockdown, on February 8th 2024.

Of course, given the scale of the venue and the coruscating light show beaming above his head, it soon turns into a captivating display of the relationship between the music and the environment. 

“As soon as LOOSE talked to me about the idea of making this video together, I knew that it had to be shot on film - it just made sense," says George Muncey of UNCANNY. 

"I think everyone was particularly blown away with how the film’s latitude handled the intentional overexposure of the lights. I kept bringing up a reference from Oppenheimer in pre-production where they utilise a similar technique, and I’m really stoked with how it ended up coming across, with Yachty being completely swallowed up and enveloped by the lights.

"Mika [Altskan], the incredible DP, instilled so much confidence for the boundaries of how far we could push the film to it’s limits, and I have endless gratitude for him and how beautiful he made the video.”
