Martin J Pickering directs an emotional promo for Interlaker, set in the Cambridgeshire Fens where both the singer Dave Jakes (previously Lonely The Brave) and director come from.

Starring Alice Henley and two brothers with no previous acting experience, the video has an anachronistic, almost 90's feel to it, harking back to the days where kids used to disappear and make their own fun. No phones, no tech, just danger and mischief. 

It's a beautifully filmic, character-driven piece, that has a heavy dose of autobiographic truth to it - indeed, Pickering took inspiration from a time when he and his mates roamed the streets and countryside with a similarly unhealthy obsession with lighting fires.
