Guy Gooch's latest collaboration with singer-songwriter Ray Laurél takes us into the forest - with real wolves. 

Following the impressive promos for My Luv, U SAID! and more, Gooch's video for Ride is another inventive labour of love. Experimenting with lo-fi formats, night-vision and unusual perspectives, driven by a kinetic edit, the director sends Laurél through the forest, accompanied by wolves, towards a haunting climax.

The disorientating quality of the setting and frantic energy of Laurél's performance finally leads to a transcendental moment when a glowing light offers a brief encounter with a lost love. An otherworldly moment to round off a rousing experience.
