The Nüesch Sisters pay homage to vintage workout aesthetics in this breezy promo for indie-pop outfit Friedberg. 

Following up on their previous work for the band, the video for Hardcore Workout Queen has a hyper-vibrant, tongue-in-cheek concept, featuring the group as they perform and get to grips with the workout queen lifestyle. 

With a peppering of fun visual effects and an offbeat, idiosyncratic vibe, the Nüesch Sisters have done a brilliant job of bringing the idea to life. A feel-good watch with some standout visual moments. 

“The idea was that it’s muscle beach without the muscle - it’s a fitness video for lazy people," explain Kim and Florine Nüesch.

“The only problem? There’s one real Hardcore Workout Queen in the bunch, and as she starts to flex her actual workout skills, the other cover stars get a little… jealous. They start breaking free from their magazine prisons, hopping from one cover to another, causing absolute comedic mayhem.”
