Directing duo Charlie & Charlie direct Hard Life’s Murray Maltravers in a traditional Onsen bathhouse in the Kagurazaka district of Tokyo in the second video from the band’s new album - their first since changing their name from Easy Life. 

The directors make the most of Murray’s natural charm - and even capture him au naturel - in this atmospheric setting for the video for the track Othello.  

It’s the first of two that Charlie Drinkwater and Charles Gall shot of the band during a whirlwind trip to Tokyo, that also involved them shooting stills and social content for the album campaign. The pair have taken the reins on all visual direction for the new Hard Life era, serving as both creative directors, directors and photographers across the project - with more visuals on the horizon accompanying the forthcoming singles and album release.
