Youngs Teflon 'Brownin' by Lauren Luxenberg
Rob Ulitski - 22nd Apr 2025
Lauren Luxenberg's latest video for Youngs Teflon takes him to a classic London caff with his girlfriend, their romantic moment disturbed by the rapper's unease at weird stuff going on around him. Or is it all in his head?
Following Da Gutter, where he may be under surveillance, in the video for Brownin - part two of a trilogy of videos by Luxenberg - Youngs Teflon definitely has a sense of being watched, as neighbouring customers in the café begin to stare him down and take over his lipsyncing duties.
With his girlfriend apparently oblivious to what he's seeing - her dialogue appearing in subtitles - YT starts to question his grip on reality.
It's a visual that strikes a nice balance between music video and comedy drama through the performances, camerawork and editing. So will we find out what's really happening - and who's watching Youngs - in the final part of the trilogy?
