Channeling 1960s-style cinematic split screen a la The Thomas Crown Affair, the video for Lawdy Rolla sees The Modfather roll back the years, sticking to his instincts with a top-notch studio performance with his band for this bluesy track. 

Vibrant and breezy, this unfolds through Ducasse focussing on close-ups of Weller and the band in blocky patterns on-screen, creating a dynamic and absorbing aesthetic.

And three decades on from Weller being one of the patron saints of Britpop, this arguably sits in the same world as his videos from back in the day, such as The Changingman.
