TOMORA 'Ring The Alarm' by Adam Smith

David Knight - 16th Dec 2025
Adam Smith heralds new music project TOMORA with a video in the vibrant and hypnotic style familiar to fans of both members of this brand new music project.Â
TOMORA is a collaboration between The Chemical Brothers' Tom Rowland and Norwegian singer Aurora, and the video for Ring The Alarm is powerful, due to the application of its uncomplicated elements - Aurora with two masked theatrical dancers, performs the track, in distorted, distressed and solarised video footage, colourised into bright pink, adding a distinctly otherworldly feel. It's ostensibly simple - but mesmerising.
It works on the viewer to become cumulatively more enjoyable as the (very ChemBros-sounding) track unravels, and with repeated viewings. And it has exactly the aesthetic feel of the iconic live visuals that Smith has created with his directing partner Marcus Lyall for the dance music veterans for years. That includes the visual for Eve Of Destruction featuring Aurora in 2019, which was so impressive that it was released as the official video for the track.
Smith then went on to create visuals for Aurora's own live show in 2024. So with TOMORA announcing live dates for 2026, could this scintillating piece for Ring The Alarm be the appetiser for an exciting new chapter of live visuals? Let's hope so. Â
