Nia Archives is kicking back in suburbia and getting into a sexy frame of mind, in her first collaboration with Claryn Chong.

It's a distinct break from previous Nia Archives videos that had a gritty, urban feel. Here she gets in touch with her feminine side in the white carpeted environs of middle-class respectibility. And then subverts it with dreams of turning it into a hedonist paradise - and party zone and the turntables come out and a mob of beautiful friends materialise.

"I wanted to give Nia a space to express a whole a different part of herself that she hadn’t really expressed before, the one that’s chaotic and messy and sexy and soft and emotional all at the same time," says Claryn Chong. "It’s a glimpse into her version of womanhood.

"Aesthetically I looked at a lot of 90s diaristic photography and girl next door references to build and create this real lived-in girlhood feeling that felt dreamy yet surreal, timeless and beautiful."
