Giles Edward-N directs a rousing promo for Manchester rock band Corella, where the real world begins to come apart, revealing a strange new reality, created by the power of the music. 

The video for Thunder Strike finds a couple immersed in a fantasy of psychedelic, sensory visuals and music. Beautifully shot on 35mm by DoP Jed Darlington Roberts, the couple are drawn into an an abandoned art deco amphitheatre - where Corella are playing. As they enter the space, the video dives into a feverish amalgam of glitchy textures, mind-bending decor and liminal errors, matching the breathless pace of the track. 

It's a feat of slick direction with VFX trickery that feels both fresh and absorbing, as world-bending animation disseminates from the powerful percussion of Thunder Strike.
