Sada 'Nu Ocnebob' by Sali Nikolaishvili and Sandro Darakhvelidze
Rob Ulitski - 8th Oct 2026
Georgian directors Sali Nikolaishvili and Sandro Darakhvelidze directs a stirring promo for new artist Sada, featuring intriguing masked characters consumed by their own inner worlds. Â
The video for Nu Ocnebob (Stop Dreaming) is a surreal exploration of dreaming, blindness and liberation, moving through a series of dreamlike spaces where dance gradually becomes an act of release. The artist occupies a separate, entirely black-and-white reality, creating a visual divide between performance and the dreamworld populated by the masked figures.
Nikolaishvili and Darakhvelidze's film relies entirely on practical filmmaking, physical performance and in-camera imagery - no CGI or AI-generated visuals - anchored by the craftsmanship of the masks, all of which were designed and made by hand specifically for the film. It's a memorable way to introduce Sada.
