Good Health Good Wealth's Bruce Breakey relives a past relationship in Alexandre Do's powerful video for the London alternative/indie duo.In the&nbsp;video for This Time Next Year We'll Be Millionaires, Breakey's character is with his mates doing macho things - videogames and copious drinking - before a flashback to a sunny day in the café with his girlfriend, played by Holly Hawgood, where the mutual attraction and easy chemistry is clear.The video continues to shift between timelines and the introduction of when things go wrong with his girlfriend is sudden. In the present, post-relationship strand, his facade of&nbsp;laddishness starts to drop.&nbsp;We are in familiar territory with many videos - and longer narratives - about the arc of a love affair from blissful happiness to despair. Alexandre Do directs a reflective promo for rapper Jianbo, which follows an old man, whose memories of his late wife keep him going.&nbsp;From the man's daily routine as a busy cook through to dreaming about a jazz club he and his late wife used to frequent, the video for Exhale (Point Hill) blends narrative, performance and dance to create something singular and perfectly suited to the track. &nbsp; &nbsp;Beautifully shot and conceptualised,&nbsp;it's a touching story brought to life masterfully by Alexandre Do and team.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]"Hearing Exhale for the first time, I knew right away it was special," says the director.&nbsp;"From this moment it wasn’t just about making a cool video, it was about making a beautiful piece of film."The song’s dedicated to Jianbo’s late friend Dom, whose guitar is sampled throughout. I wanted to stay true to that emotional core, so I kept writing until I hit something personal, pulling from my own family, my partner, a memory of seeing a picture of my dad and his friends fresh from Cambodia in the ’70s wearing flared pants. When I first wrote it, I kept thinking of Up’s opening montage and Michael Haneke’s Amour."This film is really about grief, longing, and those moments when you wish you could see someone you love one last time. Jianbo really showed up: learning the dance routine, pushing himself emotionally, and bringing out a side of himself we hadn’t seen in his past videos."

Alexandre Do directs a love letter to the late 90s and dumb boyfriends, in his promo for Izzy Bizu.&nbsp;We see the artist venting with friends in a salon after another petty fight with her boyfriend, and things soon launch into a series of glossy performance vignettes.&nbsp;Boasting impressive art direction - with plenty of earthy textures, colours and custom props&nbsp;- and slick cinematography, the video is a breezy, fun-filled affair, which acts as a perfect introduction to Izzy Bizu, for those who aren't already familiar.&nbsp;It's excellent work from up and coming director Alexandre Do.

Lo Xu-Ming Tong offers up a glimpse into the life of a group of friends who find themselves on the cusp of young adulthood, for Montréal-based electronic artist&nbsp;CRi&#39;s track Tell Her.&nbsp;It&#39;s a tumultuous sequence, presenting us to each member of the group through portraits of the defiant young boys, situating them in&nbsp;their most familiar&nbsp;spaces.&nbsp;Then, we follow them as they playfight with lighters, act&nbsp;like tough guys, drink&nbsp;by the train tracks and channel all&nbsp;their pent up anger by destroying old&nbsp;cars at a junkyard.&nbsp;The director explains: &quot;The idea was to portray kids that ended up more or less raising themselves, to capture the kind of environment where you grow as a human being primarily by the breath of your closest social entourage.&quot;&nbsp;
