Glowie tackles feminine solidarity and body image in Unloveable, directed by Samuel Taylor. 

Opening in a small hazy room, a group of girls dressed in red leotards are staring at their reflections in a stretched mirror. As the track kicks in, we cut to a swimming pool, where the group are framed within a massive arch, sitting on folded-up spectator seats. In a series of vignettes, we see the girls perform choreography centred around the idea of body image, slowly becoming happier and more comfortable in themselves. 

Beautifully shot by Olan Collardy, the composition and lighting are cleverly tweaked each time the girls return to the mirror. As their confidence grows, the room starts to feel less clinical and more homely, suggesting they are growing closer together not just as friends, but as women.

It's poignant and emotive, and the concept is summed up best by the final line of the song: "Just know I'll be there when you feel alone and unlovable."
