Sea shanty superstar Nathan Evans goes on a leisurely journey in Mike Baldwin's promo for Told You So. 

Packing a jaw-dropping number of locations into the short runtime, Baldwin employs the "double dolly" effect popularised by Spike Lee, creating playful and engaging setups which perfectly fit the lilting track. 

Though the backgrounds and environments change, Evans' cheeky charm remains on display throughout, creating an infectious energy.

If only all shoots were as fun as this...

"I've always been a fan of Spike Lee's double-dolly shots and this track just seemed the perfect fit for that idea.

"While the actual shoot was pretty simple, the logistics and number of locations to film turned it into a full-on road trip. I still have absolutely no idea how the producers pulled this off but I can imagine they were cursing me under their breath when I sent the location wish list over.

"And to top it off, it was like a mini-holiday. It was all a bit sad when we finished filming. If only all shoots were as fun as this *sigh*."
