Rik Burnell directs and shoots a spectacularly offbeat promo for Orlando Weeks. 

Shot at the Romney Marshes, the video oozes surreal, parallel-world vibes, with abstract suggestions of a narrative colliding with stylish vignettes. 

You can't help but smile and get sucked in to the pure absurdity of the concept, and guest star Lolly Adefope fits right in, with brilliant timing and a knack for mirroring Weeks's every movement.

The sound mirrors at Romney Marshes were a perfect location - familiar yet odd.  

"Orlando and I were drinking coffee pushing around ideas for this video, ideas of progression, confidence and anoraks. He took my pad and drew a picture: two figures wearing one anorak with two hoods.

"I immediately knew this was something I wanted to film. A whole bunch of narratives started emerging which made no real sense and went nowhere stable, but were fun to think nonetheless.

"The sound mirrors at Romney Marshes were a perfect otherworldly location, feeling familiar yet odd. Lolly Adefope treated us with a guest appearance as Orlando's cool-as-fuck sidekick. And Daniel W Fletcher kindly created our bespoke garment.

"Something needed to disrupt this tranquility. And that was it."
